How far is the Tulsa State Fair from Click 4 RV Park?
About nine and a half miles and fifteen to twenty minutes depending on traffic. We sit just off I-44 on the west side of the Arkansas River; Expo Square sits in midtown at 21st and Yale. Two freeways get you there, and both put you on the fairgrounds' front door.
AI-44 East to Yale Avenue
Hop on I-44 (the Skelly Bypass) eastbound, ride it about 5.5 miles, exit at Yale Avenue and head north 2.5 miles. The fairgrounds are on your left at 21st Street. This is the route on the map.
BUS-75 North to the Broken Arrow Expressway
Union Avenue north to US-75, follow I-244/US-75 across the river to the Broken Arrow Expressway, exit for 21st Street and go east about a mile. Roughly 9 miles; handy when I-44 is backed up.
Distances and times are free-flow estimates routed on the OpenStreetMap road network. Fair-week traffic on 21st and Yale can add real time, especially Friday and Saturday nights.
Sleep where the midway can't keep you up
Expo Square runs its own year-round RV park on the northwest corner of the grounds, and during the fair it is the only place to park a rig on the fairgrounds themselves. Here is the honest comparison so you can pick what fits your trip.

Building hours, midway hours, the free Oklahoma Stage headliner and the day's deal, all on one card. Concerts are free with paid gate admission and start at 7:30 PM unless noted. Dark cards are the weekend crush; go early or go late.

Local tip: the fair sold 8,000 milkshakes and cones at the Dairy Bar in 2025, up from 6,500 the year before. Outside food and drink are not allowed through the gates, so eat breakfast at the rig and arrive hungry.
What's on, where, and what time
The fair covers the whole of Expo Square, from the Pavilion and the SageNet Center to the livestock arenas. Most of this is included with your gate ticket.
Disney On Ice presents Jump In!
Ten performances in the Pavilion over the first four days. Tickets ($23.80 to $83.30) include gate admission, and everyone age 2 and up needs one. Book ahead; ten shows is all there is.

Great American Petting Zoo & Birthing Center
Super Duty Exhibit Hall. In 2024 the Birthing Center welcomed 105 animals during the fair. Go on a weekday morning and you might catch one.
Stunt Dog Show
Central Park Hall Lawn. Three shows a day of very good dogs doing very fast things. A reliable crowd-pleaser between meals.
Sea Lion Splash
Kiddieland Midway West. Trained sea lions, three shows a day, and a good excuse to sit down for twenty minutes.
Roaring Riptide Live & Wheels of Agriculture
Riptide plays Central Park Lawn North three times a day; Wheels of Agriculture is the farm-to-fair stage show on the Midway, built for kids who think food comes from a store.
Oklahoma Stage, free with admission
East of the Pavilion. Eleven nights of headliners at no extra cost; VIP seats in the first rows run $35 to $55 and include your gate ticket. Four more stages (International Beer Garden, Hard Rock Huddle, Wine Garden and Carousel Club) add dozens more live sets across the run.
A week-plus site for the people who make the fair run
In 2024 the Tulsa State Fair logged 16,982 livestock and horse show entries, and the animals start rolling through Gate 7 the day before the gates open to the public. If you're hauling a living-quarters trailer, working a food stand or setting up the midway, you need more than a nightly rate and an 11 AM checkout.

Open cattle, junior American cattle, open and junior dairy cattle, open and youth dairy goats. Livestock arrival gates run 6 AM to 8 PM daily.

Junior breeding gilts and ewes, open sheep. Cattle check-in runs noon to 2 PM at the Cattle Show Office. Open shows start Friday at 8 AM in the Ford Truck and Ranger Arenas.

The big release
Poultry, junior breeding gilts, open and junior American beef cattle and dairy cattle all release at 7 PM (dairy goats left Friday, open sheep Saturday). If you're staying for a second species, this is when a weekly site beats two nightly bookings.

Junior market week begins
Market barrows and lambs at 6 AM; meat goats, prospect steers and market steers at 8 AM. Shows run through Wednesday's Night of Champions in the Ford Truck Arena at 6 PM.

Breeding heifers, does and horses
Junior breeding does and heifers from 8 AM; open and youth horses from noon. The Open & Junior Horse Show runs Friday through Sunday in the Pavilion Arena.

Final release
Junior breeding heifers, horses and rabbits out. A Sept 30 to Oct 12 stay is twelve nights, and a two-week site covers it with a cushion on each end.

Things Tulsans know that first-timers don't
Gate 9 parking is card only
Parking is $20 everywhere on the grounds and cash works at most lots, but Gate 9 does not take cash. General parking is not sold in advance; it is first come, first served. The only reserved option is Premium Reserved Parking in Lot 4 across from the Pavilion at $150 a day.
Ride the free shuttle on weekends
Free shuttles run Thursday and Friday 5 PM to midnight, Saturday 10 AM to midnight and Sunday noon to midnight from the Tulsa Public Schools Service Center at 31st and New Haven, dropping at the Pavilion's Circle Drive. Tulsa Transit routes 150 and 450 also serve the fair. Leave the tow vehicle at the rig and skip the 21st Street crawl.
Pack for two seasons
Normal highs slide from 79°F on October 1 to 76°F by the 11th, with lows in the mid-50s, and October averages nearly four inches of rain in Tulsa. Shorts by day, a jacket for the 7:30 concert, and rain jackets in the truck.
No outside food or drink, no drones
The fair's policy is no outside food or beverage, no firearms, no drones, and all guests are subject to search. Only service animals are permitted inside the gates, so make a plan for pets before you head out for the day.
Guest Services lives in the SageNet Center
The fair's headquarters is in the southwest corner of the SageNet Center; lost and found is 918-744-1113 ext. 3111, and first aid is on the south side of the Exchange Center. Wagons rent for $20, single strollers $20, doubles $25, wheelchairs $30 and electric scooters $80.
Weeknight afternoons are the sweet spot
The fair drew 1.1 million people in 2024 and about a million in 2025, and the weekend hours run latest for a reason. Monday through Thursday the buildings open at 11 AM and the midway at noon; arrive then, eat early, catch the 7:30 show and be back at the rig before the lots empty.

When is the Tulsa State Fair in 2026?
Thursday, October 1 through Sunday, October 11, 2026. The fair runs eleven days every year, opening on the fourth Thursday after Labor Day.
What time does the Tulsa State Fair open and close?
Buildings open at 11 AM Monday through Thursday and 10 AM Friday through Sunday. They close at 9 PM most nights and 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. The midway opens an hour later than the buildings and runs until 11 PM, or midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
How much are Tulsa State Fair tickets?
Gate admission is $17 for adults, $12 for youth 5 to 12, seniors 62 and up and military, and free for children 4 and under. Advance books of four gate tickets are $40 through September 30. The Mega Ride Pass ($97 through October 4) includes gate admission and unlimited rides all eleven days; single-day ride wristbands are $47 and are sold October 5 to 11 without gate admission.

Yes. Expo Square runs its own RV park at 3890 East 15th Street with full hookups at $55 a night plus a $55 non-refundable deposit, and it does not allow late checkout during the fair. Click 4 RV Park is the nearby alternative at $50 a night with utilities included, plus weekly and monthly rates the fairgrounds don't offer.
Can I book one site for the entire fair?
Yes. A weekly site is $250 and a monthly site is $650, both with water, sewer and 30/50 amp electric included, so an eleven-day fair stay or a setup-through-teardown crew stay is one reservation. Book online through CampLife or call 918-446-3199.
Are the Tulsa State Fair concerts free?
Oklahoma Stage concerts are free with paid gate admission and start at 7:30 PM (6 PM on the final Sunday). VIP tickets for the first rows are $35 to $55 and include gate admission. Disney On Ice is a separate ticket that also includes gate admission.
Can I bring food, a cooler or my dog into the fair?
No. The fair does not allow outside food or beverage, firearms or drones, and only service animals are permitted. All guests are subject to search at the gate.
